FBR urged to extend date for returns
LAHORE, Nov 1: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has urged the Federal Board of Revenue to extend deadline for filing income tax returns till Nov 15.
In a statement on Thursday, LCCI President Farooq Iftikhar said that the FBR has already been facing multiple challenges for meeting its revenue targets due to law and order situation in parts of the country and worsening electricity situation.
An extension in the date would facilitate more tax payers to file their returns.
