UN delegation arrives in Islamabad to probe into missing persons’ issue
ISLAMABAD: A delegation of the United Nations working group has arrived in Islamabad today to probe into the issue of missing persons in the country, SAMAA reported on Sunday.There are many experts of different fields including politics, law and technical included in the four-member delegation of the UN working group.
These experts are scheduled to meet some local representatives of the United Nations in Islamabad to exchange views over missing persons in Pakistan.
The UN delegation will stay in Pakistan till September 20; during its stay the UN working group will visit all four provinces of the country to make a detailed report over missing persons.
Members of the UN delegation will also meet the concerned Pakistani officials and heirs of the missing persons.
The UN working groups delegation will submit its final report, over missing persons in Pakistan, to the Human Rights Commission of the United Nations. SAMAA
