Rain lashes Karachi areas
KARACHI: Heavy downpour surprised the citizens of Karachi early Monday
morning and turned the weather more pleasant, Geo News reported.The weather was sunny as usual in the morning but all of a sudden, dark clouds made the weather pleasant. It turned even better when heavy rain drenched the city along with winds and thunder.
Several areas including I.I Chundrigar Road, University Road, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Korangi, Malir, Nazimabad, Lyari, Garden, and many other areas are receiving rain. Several areas of Balochistan including Kalat and Makran are also receiving the downpour.
Due to heavy rain, students, office workers and other commuters faced difficulties in reaching to their destinations.
According to Chief Meteorologist Tauseef Alam, the current rain system will continue for 12 to 18 hours in the upper and middle region of Sindh.
